Reading of a new work by Andy Marvel and produced by Headwall Theatre Company about an old-school reporter who must adapt and thrive or resist and perish in the land of memes and emojiis, all while covering a spastic White House.

Synopsis:

How does a veteran journalist survive in a world where memes and emojiis take precedence over facts and research? Chuck Tanner may have been a Pulitzer finalist in the past, but today he is fighting for his job, his integrity, and his sanity. It’s an uphill battle, thanks to competition from an eager colleague fresh out of college, the lure of a seductive but secretive social media influencer, and unrelenting pressure from his boss to catch up with the times. #CrazyLand tells the story of how one old- school reporter must make the choice to adapt and thrive, or resist and perish, all while covering a spastic White House.
